About This Product
This study is an examination of state-level data on variables related to adolescent pregnancy. Birthrates, pregnancy rates, and abortion rates are the outcome variables of interest. Under investigation are relations between these rates and variables measuring different social factors, such as residential mobility, rate of poverty, and numbers of teens in organized family planning programs.
The file presented here contains only state-level demographic variables and aggregated outcome data. No individual-level data are included. The ``sample'' for this data file thus consists of each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
