What is a product?
One product equates to 1 evidence-based program (EBP), 1 dataset, or 1 capacity-building tool which you subscribe to for subsequent access in your online account.
What is a user?
One user equates to 1 person with 1 email.
How do I find a product I am looking for?
If you know the specific name of the product (or the name of its developer), type the product's or developer's name in the search bar at the top-center of the home page. Click Enter and the "hit" product(s) will appear on the screen for you to select/subscribe/purchase.
If you want to browse the collection for whether it has products that meet your current needs, you can use the Browse/Filter or Search features.
Browse and Filter: From the top panel of the homepage, click Browse Products. You can then use the filters on the left menu bar to filter the collection by product type, topics, and/or target population.
Search: Keyword searches are done in the search bar at the top-center of the homepage. Type in your search terms directly. To do a Boolean search, the operators (AND, OR, NOT) should be in all caps, e.g., "unplanned AND pregnancy"; or "contraception OR contraceptives OR contraceptive". Search terms can also be entered without a Boolean operator. A search for "unwanted pregnancy" will yield the same result as "unwanted OR pregnancy". If needed, a more complex search can be requested using brackets. The search algorithm will start executing from the innermost brackets outward.
What is an individual subscription plan?
Individual subscription plans are for a single user. You can choose how many products you would like to subscribe to.
What is a group subscription plan?
Group subscription plans include an account administrator and different numbers of users (1 user = 1 email). The account administrator will enter and manage these emails on their log-in. If a user leaves the group, another user may be substituted. There is a cap to the number of substitutions you can make in one year. A group chooses how many products they want to subscribe to as well. If you have further questions or if you would like us to help you find the right plan, please feel free to contact us. For example, we can develop a customized plan for you, at a deep discount, if you want a group subscription over a one-year or two-year period.
I am at an institution (e.g., university) and we need an institutional subscription plan (an all-access pass for the entire university) -- what do I do?

Where are my materials?
Once you select and subscribe to a product, it will be located in “My Products” online. The icon for your products is the open book in the upper right hand corner of the page.
Why are some of my online materials downloadable and others aren’t?
Evidence-based program teacher materials are view only. Student consumables (e.g., worksheets) are downloadable so that you can use the EBP with various groups of students. Please note that your license allows you to use the student materials only during the period that you are an active subscriber.
Datasets can be downloaded for SAS, SPSS, and STATA. Documentation files, user guides, and questionnaires are view only.
Professional education and capacity-building tool videos are view only. Consumables (e.g., questionnaires, roadmaps) are downloadable.
I am a health educator implementing a 12 month evidence-based health education program -- how many months must I subscribe to access my materials?
You must maintain your monthly subscription for the duration of your chosen health education program in order to access the materials online, so in this example the full 12 months.
What type of device can I access the Sociometrics platform on?
You can access your materials on your desktop computer or mobile device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop). There is a limit of 3 devices per user.
What internet browsers must I use for the Sociometrics platform?
You must use Safari version 11.1.1 or above, Google Chrome version 26 or above, or Firefox version 25 or above. Internet Explorer is not supported at this time. For the multimedia capacity-building products, use with the Puffin browser when you are on your tablet or smartphone. Puffin is available for free download.
I am having trouble downloading my materials?
First, check to see if there is a download icon next to your product component (e.g., student worksheet). If you have clicked the icon, and are having trouble downloading the product -- ensure you have reliable access to wifi or the internet - sometimes a slow or spotty connection can make it take longer to download. If you are still having trouble, contact us.

How do I switch around my products within my subscription plan?
Log in to your www.socio.com user account. Hover over the person icon in the upper right-hand side of the site and choose 'My Account.' From the left-hand side navigation pane choose 'Subscription.' Scroll to the section titled Product and choose 'Manage.' A check box titled Remove should appear below each product name, check the box for the product you want to switch out and then choose 'Save.' Then navigate to the home page by choosing the Sociometrics logo in the top upper left-hand side of the site. Browse to the new product you would like to subscribe to and choose the 'Add to My Library' box from it's page. If you are still having trouble, contact us.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
Open your profile by clicking on the icon in the upper right hand corner of the page. Go to the Subscription tab. Click on "Unsubscribe". Please note that Sociometrics does not provide refunds for partial subscription months.
If you would like to delete your account entirely, you can also contact us with a formal request. Please reference the email address associated with your account. Please note that once an account is deleted, any files within that account will be lost, and we will be unable to restore them.
