PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Dr. Ashcraft joined Sociometrics Corporation in 2008. As a Senior Research
Associate, she is actively involved in HIV prevention research and is particularly
invested in the translation of research findings into sexual health promotion
programs and interventions and the evaluation of existing programs. Her
own research has focused on better understanding how gender, culture, poverty,
and other social and contextual factors affect women’s sexual decision-making.
Prior to joining Sociometrics, Dr. Ashcraft completed a three-year fellowship
at the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies at the University of California, San
Francisco where she received extensive training in epidemiology and in social,
clinical, and methodological issues associated with HIV prevention and care research. Dr.
Ashcraft was also employed at the Center for Cultural Experiences in Prevention
at Virginia Commonwealth University where she served as a program evaluator for
a large HIV prevention intervention for African American women. Her dissertation
research on African American mother/daughter communication about relationships
and sex was funded by NIMH.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Dr. Card, Founder and President of Sociometrics Corporation, is a nationally
recognized social scientist and an expert in the establishment and operation
of social science data, instrument, and program archives as well as science
capacity-building training for non-profit organizations. She has served as
Principal Investigator of the Data Archive on Adolescent Pregnancy and Pregnancy
Prevention, the American Family Data Archive, the AIDS/STD Data Archive, the
Maternal Drug Abuse Data Archive, the Behavioral Science Research Instruments
Archive, the Program Archive on Sexuality, Health, & Adolescence, the HIV/AIDS
Prevention Program Archive, and the Institute for Program Development and Evaluation.
Dr. Card has had over 25 years experience as Principal Investigator and Project
Director of over 70 social science research and development projects, many
of them longitudinal investigations. She received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology
from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1971. From 1973-1983 she served on the staff
of the American Institutes for Research (AIR) in the Behavioral Sciences, where
she developed a multi-faceted research program dealing with the causes, consequences,
and potential preventive and ameliorative strategies for several contemporary
social problems, including teenage pregnancy and contraceptive decision-making.
Her work has been funded by a variety of federal agencies, including the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention, the Office of Population Affairs, the National
Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the National Institute of
Mental Health, the National Institute on Aging, the Office of Human Development
Services, the National Center for Health Statistics, the Veterans Administration,
the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious
Diseases, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the National Institute
of Mental Health. Dr. Card has also received grant and contract monies from
many private foundations, including the David and Lucile Packard Foundation,
the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation,
the Northwest Area Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and
the Johnson & Johnson Pediatric Institute. Alongside her track record as a
project leader, Dr. Card has established a solid track record as a health and
population scientist. She has authored over 80 books, monographs, and journal
articles. Her work is noted for its integration of behavioral and demographic
perspectives. Throughout her career Dr. Card has recognized the importance
of communicating scientific findings both to scientists as well as to other
professionals (service providers, policymakers) and lay citizens who could
benefit from the body of knowledge. She has led the development of many research-based
products and services aimed at these diverse constituencies. Dr. Card has also
devoted a significant portion of her career to facilitating the development
and scientific evaluation of social intervention programs. She has served as
a member of many federal advisory committees, including the NIH (National Institutes
of Health) Study Section for Social Sciences and Population, the NICHD (National
Institute on Child Health and Human Development) Population Research Committee,
and the NICHD Advisory Council. She has served on the Effective Programs and
Research Task Force of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy and
the Advisory Panel of the National Urban Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention effort
jointly sponsored by the National Organization on Adolescent Pregnancy, Prevention,
and Parenting, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Ms. Cornell joined Sociometrics in 2008, where she works on the Children's
Emotional Disorders Effective Treatment Archive (CEDETA) and an accompanying
APA-sponsored continuing education component for clinical practitioners. She
also works on the Psychological Test and Assessment Resource (PsyTestAR), an
internet-based application for psychological assessment of children and adolescents.
In addition, she lends her expertise to program evaluation projects of family
support and leadership initiatives.
Ms. Cornell has co-authored reports for
the National Academy of Sciences on the relationship between adolescent risk
perceptions, tobacco use, and the media, and published articles on health and
risk-taking behavior in a variety of peer-reviewed journals including the Journal
of American Academy of Pediatrics, Journal
of Adolescent Health, and Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental
Research.
Prior to joining Sociometrics, Ms. Cornell worked as Project
director and co-investigator for two longitudinal research projects at
the University of California, San Francisco. Her work centered on decision
making and risk perceptions of adolescent risk-taking behavior, specifically
sexual behavior and tobacco use. Prior to that, Ms. Cornell worked in the
field of addiction and mental health, including work on research studies
of genetic links to alcoholism and a program evaluation of a drug and alcohol
recovery program for pregnant mothers that utilized culture centered therapy
. Ms. Cornell’s direct service experience includes case management
in the foster care system and providing counseling and therapy to individuals
and families.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Dr. Cunningham joined Sociometrics Corporation in 2007. As a Senior Research
Associate, she is responsible for the conceptualization, design, and implementation
of research aimed at the development and evaluation of health promotion programs,
particularly related to sexual and reproductive health. She is especially interested
in interventions which address the multi-level determinants of sexual risk
taking behavior as well program replication issues including how to adapt empirically-validated
disease prevention and health promotion programs to serve diverse populations.
In addition, Dr. Cunningham leads the production of data archives, comprised
of original data from the most outstanding studies in a particular field, for
use by students and professionals in the social sciences.
Prior to joining Sociometrics, Dr. Cunningham participated in numerous NIH-funded
projects to better understand and address behavioral and structural factors
that influence individuals. sexually transmitted infection (STI), including
HIV, risk. These projects ranged from formative work to inform programming
efforts to evaluations of the impact of existing State and Federal policies.
Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals including the
American Journal of Public Health, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and Journal
of Adolescent Health, among others.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
At Sociometrics, Dr. Dull Akers has served as both Principal Investigator
and Project Director for a number of federally funded projects; her areas of
focus have included sexual health and HIV/AIDS prevention, adolescent reproductive
health, and program development and evaluation efforts.
Currently, Dr. Dull Akers is serving as the Project Director for the HIV/AIDS
Prevention Practitioner Institute. This project, funded by the National Center
on Minority Health and Health Disparities, involves the development and testing
of a multimedia course series, designed to increase HIV prevention practitioners
capacity to plan, evaluate and sustain scientifically effective, culturally
competent HIV prevention interventions. Dr. Dull Akers also served as Principal
Investigator for the recently completed Phase II Know the Risks project, funded
by the National Institute of Mental Health. The project was devoted to the
design, development and evaluation of a computer-based HIV/AIDS prevention
education application created in both English and culturally tailored Spanish
language formats. With funding from the National Institute of Aging, Dr. Dull
Akers also served as Principal Investigator for a Phase I project to develop
and test a second Know the Risks application, tailored for older adults.
Dr. Dull Akers also served as Project Director for the Institute for Program
Development and Evaluation (IPDE), sponsored by the National Institute of Child
Health and Human Development. IPDE provides teen pregnancy and STD/HIV/AIDS
prevention program staff with professional training and certification in program
development and evaluation. With funding from the Department of Housing and
Urban Development, Dr. Dull Akers was the Principal Investigator for a one-year
study of first-time homebuyers housing and credit search experiences. Finally,
she has served as Project Director for the Program Archive on Sexuality, Health
and Adolescence (PASHA), a collection of effective teen pregnancy and STD/HIV/AIDS
prevention programs, co-sponsored by the National Institute of Child Health
and Human Development and the United States Office of Population Affairs.
Prior to joining Sociometrics in 1999, Dr. Dull Akers held a three-year appointment
as Lecturer for the departments of Sociology and Gender Studies at Sonoma State
University. Her areas of teaching and research expertise include health care
and illness, family violence, gender and sexuality, social psychology and qualitative
methods.

As Director of Technology for Sociometrics, Mr. Gordon is responsible for
the computer and network infrastructure that supports the work of the company.
Sociometrics uses the Internet as a distribution medium for its products, and
depends on its internal network of servers and workstations.
Mr. Gordon's background in computer networks and research applications includes
support of biomedical research for NASA in the Cardiovascular Research Laboratory
at Ames Research Center and medical image processing research and development
at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He developed many of the applications
and most of the system design for Toshiba's Magnetic Resonance Imaging group,
and developed a networked image processing capability to support the MRI system's
photographic requirements using Sun Microsystems workstations.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Ms. Hennessee joined Sociometrics in August of 2004 as part-time production
coordinator and administrative assistant. Her primary function is the filling
of customer orders and requests in an efficient and timely manner. As administrative
assistant, Ms. Hennessee helps staff with record keeping, and office equipment
maintenance.
Before coming to Sociometrics, Ms. Hennessee worked for nine years in banks
and Savings and Loans, before leaving her last management position to focus
on raising her children. She subsequently worked for several not-for-profit
organizations whose focus is the education and well-being of adolescents in
the U.S. and overseas.

Ms. Hill joined Sociometrics in February 1998 as the Office Manager. She
currently works as the Chief Operations Officer, Personnel Manager and the
Sales and Marketing Administrator. Ms. Hill is a member of the Management Council,
which is responsible for corporate direction. As Chief Operations Officer,
Ms. Hill heads the Operations Council, which is responsible for corporate activities
such as: Personnel, Technology, Office Management and Facilities. As Personnel
Manager, her responsibilities include but are not limited to: conducting entry
and exit interviews with staff; maintaining confidential personnel records;
administering medical and life insurance policies; distributing job announcements
to appropriate employment agencies; maintaining workman's compensation files;
complying with California labor laws; mailing new employee information to the
Employment Development Department; and maintaining the corporate Handbook of
Administrative and Personnel Policies. Her duties as Sales and Marketing Administrator
include: Head of Sales, Product Orders, and Office Management. Ms. Hill is
also the administrator and editor of two corporate publications: The Statement
of Capabilities, and the Guide to Products and Services. Ms. Hill
is co-editor and provided the design layout of the PASHA Program Sourcebook.
Ms. Hill was involved in the production and design of the CDC Guidebook. Her
production and design credits also include: the Prevention Minimum Evaluation
Dataset (PMEDS) and Data Management. As Marketing Associate, Ms.
Hill is editor and provides design and layout to: the thrice annually published
company newsletter, the Archive Reporter, and product and company brochures
and fliers. In addition, she also coordinates direct mail production and ongoing
administration of the internal marketing database. Ms. Hill provides research
assistance for various projects throughout the company.
Prior to joining Sociometrics, Ms. Hill's employment included working as a
Student Teacher for two Bay Area schools and working as a substitute teacher
in both the Cupertino and Belmont School Districts, teaching grades K-8. Ms.
Hill also worked as a Senior Administrative Assistant for two companies, including
Project READ of the Redwood City Public Library. Ms. Hill also served as the
Secretary for Project READ's nonprofit board, Redwood City Friends of Literacy.
Ms. Hill's volunteer experiences include: literacy tutor for Project READ in
Redwood City, CA; camp counselor for Camp Okizu; and as a tutor for elementary

Ms. Estelita joined Sociometrics Corporation in July 1996. Since that time
she contributed to the Program Archive on Sexuality, Health and Adolescence
(PASHA), the Adult HIV Program Archive, Phase I, NIDA Program Archive, Phase
I, and the CDC Evaluation Workbook and Tutorial. Her work on PASHA was in great
part layout and design of program materials as well as in the production of
all orders. Her work on both the Adult HIV and NIDA Program Archives was in
the capacity of research assistant where she conducted searches and mimeographed
supporting journal articles to assist in compilation of briefing documents.
She served as a production assistant and graphic layout artist for the CDC
Evaluation Workbook. In September 1997 Ms. Estelita was promoted to Financial
Associate where lie her current primary responsibilities. They include, but
are not limited to: payroll processing; A/P; A/R; cash management; sales reporting;
budget forecasting for future grants and contracts; and inventory of equipment
purchases. In addition to her responsibilities as Financial Associate, Ms.
Estelita also assists the Marketing Team in the compilation of direct mail
lists, the coordination of direct mail production with the mailing houses,
the copy editing of our thrice-annual Archive Reporter newsletter and updates
to our web site, and the ongoing administration of the internal marketing database,
files and portfolio. From October 2000 through March 2003 she also held the
corporate position of Co-Personnel Manager. Her responsibilities included:

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Currently, Dr. Kreider is serving as the Project Director for the Children's
Emotional Disorders Effective Treatment Archive (CEDETA). Dr. Kreider joined
Sociometrics in 2007 after serving as a Principal Investigator and Research
Associate at the Harvard Family Research Project (HFRP) for fifteen years.
At HFRP, Dr. Kreider managed research projects on family involvement in children's
learning and children's participation in after school activities. She also
lead professional development activities, including the development of professional
institutes and research-based training tools. While at HFRP, Dr. Kreider co-edited
a book entitled Preparing Educators to Involve Families (Sage Publications,
2005), served on the faculty at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and
co-founded the Family Involvement Network of Educators - a national network
of over 7,000 educators and other professionals committed to engaging families
in their children's education.
From 1987 to 1997, Dr. Kreider was involved in numerous clinical and counseling
roles, including predoctoral clinical internships in a community-based and
university setting, as well as counseling and volunteer directorship in a residential
treatment program and children's shelter, respectively. Throughout her career,
Dr. Kreider has also conducted a range of consulting activities with family-based
intervention programs, public school districts, county-level education initiatives
and national nonprofit organizations, such as strategic planning, grantwriting,
evaluation and curriculum development.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Tamara Kuhn, Director of Internet Development at Sociometrics Corporation,
is an experienced social scientist, researcher, and web developer who specializes
in the design and programming of social science related technology. Since assuming
the responsibilities of Director of Internet Development, Ms. Kuhn has been
instrumental in improving Sociometrics' Internet resources, applications and
data management systems. Improvements have included redesign of the corporate
web site, upgrades to Sociometrics' web server, and implementation of security
applications. Current responsibilities include the oversight of all web commerce
and related technologies, development, design, implementation, and management
of new web related projects, including acting as programmer and developer for
current projects such as online statistical abstracts, Flash-based online encyclopedias
and teaching modules, an online research tool for HIV/AIDS prevention practitioners
that uses Internet assisted methods for collecting and analyzing data, and
an interactive online curriculum designed to train HIV/AIDS prevention practitioners
on methods of evaluation. Ms. Kuhn is currently thr Principal Investigator
for SHIFTeen, an interative web site focused on sexual health risk reduction
for teens and the co-Investigator for Know the Risks: HIV/AIDS over 50. Ms.
Kuhn was also the Principal Investigator and project director of MIDAS-Multivariate
Interactive Data Analysis System, a complex web-based data analysis system.
Ms. Kuhn has developed a series of online courses with engaging multimedia
coursework, interactive exercises and quizzes, discussion boards, and chat
rooms, resulting in an online community that fosters learning and information
exchange. Ms. Kuhn is experienced with HTML, CGI, Perl, and JavaScript, as
well as design and publishing tools such as Flash, PhotoShop, Fireworks, Adobe
Acrobat and most popular HTML editors. Additionally, through recent project
work, she has gained substantial experience in the integration of both live
interactive web communication and pre-selected streaming video clips. Ms. Kuhn's
programming interests and experiences include Flash/Actionscript, C++, and
Perl. She is experienced in PC, Macintosh, and UNIX operating systems and familiar
with all major statistical software packages, and database programs.
Prior to joining Sociometrics, Ms. Kuhn received her Masters Degree in Sociology
from Stanford University. While in graduate school, Ms. Kuhn focused primarily
on experimental social psychology and status processes, serving as a research
assistant and laboratory coordinator for several social psychology experiments.
In these projects, Ms. Kuhn acquired significant research, evaluation, and
data analysis experience. At both San Jose State University and Stanford University,
Ms. Kuhn served as a teaching assistant for several social psychology, statistics,
computer, and research methodology courses.

she is a team member of both the “Know the Risks: HIV Over 50” and “Abstinence
and Contraception Education Storehouse” projects, and responds to Data
Support Group requests. In addition, Ms. Raad is a data archivist, working
to continuously expand and update the impressive Sociometrics data archive.
Prior to joining Sociometrics, Ms. Raad worked at a rape crisis center. As the
Prevention Education Coordinator, Ms. Raad developed and presented programs to
over 5,000 youth, counselors, and educators about cycles of violence and at the
individual, family, and community levels. Prior to that, Ms. Raad worked at the
Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH) coordinating and evaluating a program that increased
social support networks among older adults. While at LVH, she also created digital
stories of older adults and evaluated the impact on both the patient and physician
of using these stories to train general medicine interns. As a staff member of
the YWCA of Bethlehem, Ms. Raad coordinated a program to empower underrepresented
elementary school girls to enter the science and engineering fields by teaching
them animation, web design and robotics programming. Ms. Raad is particularly
interested in innovative ways of using technology to empower members of our community
to educate one another, connect to each other and create meaningful change.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Dr. Raghupathy joined Sociometrics in June 1997 after receiving her Ph.D.
in Sociology from Brown University. She specialized in social demography, with
specific interests in fertility, child health, and program evaluation. Her
dissertation, The Role of Health Services and Other Community Influences
on Child Care Practices and Child Health in the Philippines, dealt with
specific methodological problems in evaluating the effects of public programs
on health outcomes. Dr. Raghupathy has published in national and international
journals such as Social Science and Medicine, Population Research and Policy
Review, and the Journal of Comparative Family Studies (forthcoming).
Her papers have primarily dealt with topics relating to health care use, maternal
and child health, and unwanted pregnancies in Thailand and the Philippines,
as well as on issues relating to spousal communication and reproductive attitudes
in Ghana.
At Sociometrics, Dr. Raghupathy has worked on projects relating to substance
abuse and other high-risk behaviors, program development and evaluation. Currently,
she is leading the development of the Virtual Practitioner Evaluation Consultant,
a web-based data collection and analysis tool that will assist in the scientific
evaluation of HIV/AIDS prevention program data. Prior to that, she directed
the creation of the Youth Substance Abuse Prevention program's (YSAPP) Archive,
a compilation of the 12 most effective youth substance abuse prevention programs
in the country. She directed the production of a variety of evaluation materials
for substance abuse prevention programs as well as an interactive CD-ROM that
provides practitioners with the basics to conduct process and outcome evaluations.
Dr. Raghupathy serves as Sociometrics' Director of Practitioner Support. Her
responsibilities include consultation to organizations at the local, county
and state levels, on program implementation and evaluation. Dr Raghupathy has
provided evaluation assistance for a number of prevention programs in the Hayward,
Alameda and San Mateo school districts in Northern California.
Prior to joining Sociometrics, Dr. Raghupathy worked in Development Alternatives,
New Delhi, India. She also held internships at the World Bank (Washington,
D.C.), and UNICEF (New Delhi). Her work in these organizations has dealt with
several aspects of women's health and development, such as rural credit in
Bangladesh and its impact on women's welfare and health (the World Bank); communication
packages for propagating safe motherhood and child care practices (UNICEF);
and common property resources and community based management systems in India
(Development Alternatives).
RUBEN OSCAR RUIZ

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Mr. Ruiz joined Sociometrics in April of 2000. As a Senior Research Assistant,
he has been involved in the development of MIDAS (Multivariate Interactive
Data Analysis System), covered Data Support Group inquiries and worked
on the Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Program Archive. In the near future
he will be working on the Child Welfare Archive. In addition to research related
tasks, Mr. Ruiz is training to fill the role of System Administrator Assistant.
Prior to joining Sociometrics, Mr. Ruiz worked for the City of San Jose, where
he held various positions which included recreation leader for the School Age
Growth and Enrichment Program (S.A.G.E.), Program Liaison for the Si Se Puede
Program, and Family Advocate for the Parent Education and Resource Link Services
program (P.E.A.R.L.S.). With the SAGE program he ran afterschool and summer
programs for elementary school children. As a program Liaison with Si Se Puede,
Mr. Ruiz ran an afterschool program for at-risk youth at a San Jose Middle
School. The program focused on issues that affected the students and included,
self-esteem, drug use, violence and gangs, and academic components. As a Family
Advocate, he counseled parents and made referrals to various agencies throughout
the county of Santa Clara. Mr. Ruiz also held a position with a law firm; assisting
uninsured hospital patients apply for Medi-Cal and Victims of Crime benefits.
