This book consists of 76 letters from teenagers to Dr. Know that focus on sexual and contraceptive decision-making and issues relating to pregnancy and parenthood. Within each of these domains, roughly half the letters address core facts deemed essential for teenagers to know if they are to make informed decisions about sexuality. The remaining letters have been selected to be interesting and challenging to teens. All material has been gathered from recent and classic empirical research studies, including recent surveys of nationally representative samples of teens.
