More and more, teen pregnancy and STD/HIV/AIDS prevention programs
are required to provide evidence that they are having the intended
impact. Busy prevention practitioners and program administrators
can benefit from learning or improving their ability to ensure that
program monitoring and evaluation are accomplished appropriately
and efficiently. Moreover, integrating evaluation with program planning
and implementation allows a program to better meet community needs,
and to have a greater influence on funders and policy makers.
