This is the fifth in a series of periodic surveys of women 15-44 years of age. In Cycle 5, event histories of education, living arrangements during childhood, and work have been added along with complete marital and cohabitation histories, and sex ual partner histories for 5 years prior to the interview. The survey also included, for the first time, characteristics of male partners. Data are contained in two files: a respondent file with individual-level data; and an interval file that uses the pregnancy as the unit of analysis.
