The Practitioner Support Group, directed by Shobana Ragupathy, consists of Ph.D. and Masters level social scientists with training in developmental psychology, sociology, and anthropology and experience working in diverse school and community contexts. We provide assistance in planning, selecting, implementing, and evaluating programs, particularly in the areas of adolescent pregnancy and STD/HIV/AIDS prevention. Our services are designed to help practitioners form a realistic assessment of their own skills and resources; we, in turn, provide the additional skills necessary to ensure that programs address the needs of their teens and values of their communities.
